Edvard Munch - Syk pike

One of the most famous picture Edvard Munch painted is called “Syk pike“. This picture he painted at least six times, and in addition several graphical versions. All these paintings are the same size but the brush strokes and the color changes. The first he painted in 1886, is now in the National Gallery in Oslo, it is grayer than the others. The one he painted in 1896 hung in Oslo but were later replaced with the painting from 1886. The one he painted in 1896, is now in the Gothenburg Museum of Art. The th
