Scammers Are Selling Fake Coronavirus Cures and Tests: FBI

Authorities are warning today to be on the lookout for scammers trying to prey on unsuspecting people during the coronavirus pandemic. An actor allegedly posing as scientist was arrested by the FBI for attempted fraud after publishing a video advertising bogus cures and treatments for COVID-19. The FBI also said that thousands of Americans are getting scam robocalls, and that some con artists are going so far as to sell fake tests door to door.
