A magnitude 7.4 earthquake rocks South America! Houses shook from Chile to Brazil!

On July 18, a magnitude 7.4 earthquake shook northern Chile. The tremors occurred at 21:50 local time. It was followed by several aftershocks. The epicenter was in the Antofagasta region at a depth of 126 kilometers. There was no tsunami warning. The earthquake was felt in five regions of the country: Antofagasta, Arica, Tarapaca, Atacama and Coquimbo. The tremors were also felt by residents of Peru, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. On social networks, eyewitnesses share footage of the natural disaster. Furniture shook in the houses and objects fell from shelves. Some residents left their homes.
