The steel blade was hardened and tempered also Copper bolster added to a handle. To operate such Razor Sharp knife it is necessary to have some Basic knife skills. This steel has very high carbon up to 1% does not rust so quickly and has great sharpening potential. For a sample I took a model of culinary “Petty“ or sushi knife - Japanese word for a paring or utility knife and it came from the French word “petite”. It’s really Perfect to slice fruits and veggies and also equally as handy for work on a cutting board. This beautiful knife is now used in my own kitchen and I like it .
