Hey Everyone! Thanks for watching Pour Away fluid Arts - patterns. This is Fluid Art - Autumn Leaves. A mixed media artwork in Resin, Acrylic and copper. I was trying to do a resin pour a few weeks ago and I hated the result and I scraped it and did something else. But thinking back later, I realized that what I’d ended up with was a dark blurry background that would be perfect for putting a flower in front of. That to come later, but I wanted to start with something simpler and so I settled on maple leaves in autumn colors. As I’m still playing with wire forms it seemed like a pretty straight forward, if labor intensive, thing to do. I make jewelry as another hobby and I have soldering equipment and so it was fairly straight forward to make a cool branch to hang the leaves off. The biggest challenge in this pour was selecting the colors for the leaves. I usually put contrasting colors together for this type of pour but that would look crazy on a leaf. I also wanted them to
