Palestine Activists Disrupt German Chancellor

“The blood of Palestinians is on your hands” – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was protested by Palestinian supporters while he was giving a speech at one of the country’s largest book fairs. In typical German fashion, other attendees attempted to silence the activists, repeatedly interjecting phrases like ‘stop it’ or ‘stop shouting now.’ The chancellor responded to the activists, ordering them to “stop shouting” in several instances. Scholz’s self-righteous answers were met with widespread applause from the Germans. The Federal Republic of Germany has arguably been Israel’s most uncritical ally, devoting itself to backing the occupying state no matter what.
