Full title reads: “The Oval, Kennington. The Second Test - England win the toss and do well in opening stages - despite ’mixed’ weather - against New Zealand.“ The Oval, Kennington, London. Douglas Jardine, English Cricket Captain and J C Lowry, Captain of New Zealand walk onto the Oval pitch. Jardine wins the toss and elects to bowl first. The New Zealand team come out to take the field. Herbert Sutcliffe and Bakewell come out to bat for England as the opening pair. Various shots of the cricket match being played.
