“Prince Charming“ .. All Sweden Is Calling Him (1932)

Full title reads: “Stockholm. ’Prince Charming’ ... all Sweden is calling him. Swedish capital goes ’all-British“ to welcome the Prince of Wales & Prince George.“ Stockholm, Sweden. The Prince of Wales’ insignia and the British Union Jack flag form part of the decorations in a Stockholm street. Street scenes with Union Jack’s flying from shops. A large royal coat of arms on display. A small photograph of Prince Edward, the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor). It is displayed in a hat shop window. British and Swedish flags hang from a large building. King Gustav of Sweden shakes hands with the Prince of Wales, behind him getting off the train is Prince George. The Crown Prince and Princess also welcome the two British royals. Princess Ingrid shakes hands with the Prince of Wales (the voiceover asks ’Now is there a romance?’ Probably referring to Duke of Kent). Various others greet the two Princes. The King and the Prince of Wales get into an open car. C/U as the car drive
