Full title reads: “Walker-on-Tyne. China’s first Train Ferry - for service between Nanking & Pukow - capable of carrying 21 waggons on 3 rail tracks of 300 feet each - launched by Mdme. Quo Tai Chi.“ Walker-on-Tyne, Tyne and Wear. Various shots of the massive train ferry in the shipbuilding yard. Men remove the wooden piles that hold the ship in place.
