Full title reads: “Devon. A Dream Comes True! Cardinal Bourne - Papal Legate - & whole of British Roman Catholic hierarchy, at consecration of Buckfast Abbey Church, first to be restored since the Reformation.“ Buckfast Abbey, Devon. Exterior of Buckfast Abbey. Tilt down from of building to show crowds gathered outside. Procession of priests and clergy. They are carrying a very ornamented box which may contain relics. The procession enters the Church. A priest marks a sign of the cross on the doorway of the Abbey. He does the same on the other side of the doorway. More shots of the ornamented box being carried in - the Abbey bells are ringing throughout. Priests leave by a different doorway. People genuflect as they pass and give blessings.
