Mansion For Cats (1964)

Tarvin, Cheshire. A story about Miss Nancy Morton who looks after 65 cats at her 10 room mansion. Shots of many bottles of milk and cream on the doorstep, Mrs Van Rossum picks them up. Various shots of several of Nancy’s cats, they are outside eating food from saucers. The narrator explains she was secretary of the RSPCA and could not bear to destroy unwanted cats so she took them in. Various shots of the cats inside in front of the fire and sitting about in chairs and baskets. A couple sit on Nancy’s knee. There is also a shot of one picking up a very small kitten.
