Samoa and Tahiti.
The story opens with various shots of a Pan Am aircraft coming in to land at American Samoa’s airport. Various shots of the vehicles bringing the landing steps. Legs are seen passing by. There is a long shot of the beautiful tropical harbour at Pago Pago. A girl tourist dives into a hotel pool and tourists are served drinks. There are grass thatched huts nearby. A tourist couple head for the water at the beach. In Tahiti there is a display of Tahitian dancing with girls in hula grass skirts, inter cut with shots of tom tom drums, and primitive hollow tube instruments. A male dancer does some great knee shaking and the girls wriggle their hips in the traditional hula dance. (01:03:43)
