Mumi - Hallelujah (handpan cover)

Hi, I’m Mumi and handpans are my life. This isn’t just a saying: they’re part of my daily life since a decade. Started as a player, since a while my job is making handpans (Elaia handpans). I spend an average of 22 hours a day surrounded by them, yet until few weeks ago I still had to build one for myself, because I couldn’t find the time to craft my set. Well, all I needed was to grab the moment… and a purpose. So i took two shells and turned them into the instrument I always had in my mind, exactly the way I wanted it to be. I made it for a specific reason: I wanted to sing this song. We all have a reason why we love it so deeply and my reason was her, because she wanted me to play it all the time. Now that I cannot see her eyes anymore I recognize that sparkle in other eyes, because there are some songs that are languages we can all speak and all we can do is to be their servants and spread them, so the love can reach all of us. “Love is not a victory march It’s a cold and it’a broken Hallelujah”.
