They can be considered as loyal companions to humans. On February 17th, World Cat Day! A day to celebrate the existence of these very pure creatures often underrated. It was on Christmas Eve in 2023. This cat ran into the garage of a kind-hearted girl with its tiny body engulfed in flames. Thanks to the relentless efforts of the medical team from the non-governmental organization led by Bicharada, the cat Chloe (named by the medical team) fought day after day and triumphed over death. The pain, surgeries, medications, and laser therapies became a part of Chloe’s daily life. Her fierce will to live was the inspiration behind her name, which, according to the Portuguese dictionary, means “she is blossoming.“ It will forever be evidence that love and determination always prevail against all odds! When you lose your ears, the loving care of caregivers helped Chloe get new ears, and she seems to really like them. How do you feel about Chloe’s new ears? Do you find them wonderful? A normal morning for Chloe always begins with changing bandages, which takes quite some time, but it’s necessary for wounds to heal quickly. Then comes the laser therapy sessions.
