The Spanish opera singer and conductor Plácido Domingo, who was one of the world-renowned Three Tenors and remains revered as “the king of opera”, has performed more than 144 roles and conducted 453 performances. He is an old friend of China since his first visit 30 years ago, and he has been back almost every year.  This time around, Domingo is working with the National Centre for the Performing Arts for one of his favorite operas: “Simon Boccanegra”.
