In this video, I want to show you how I made a hanging cat bed with macrame yarn. This is an easy macrame cat bed since I only used two knots for it.
Make sure you also check out my blog post for more photos and details about measurements:

MATERIALS USED:
• macrame cord
• scissors
• two 18-inch metal hoops (the video lists 20-inch hoops which was a mistake since I originally bought the wrong ones by accident)

• 18-inch round pillow
• plant hook to mount bed to the wall

0:00 Introduction
0:54 continue with rows of Vertical Lark’s Head Knots all the way around the hoop
3:14 this is called a Gathering Knot Method, you could also just wrap yarn around the strands and tie them with a standard knot
5:33 I knotted all 4 strands down to 5 inches long.
6:40 add another square knot after the wood bead to keep it in place
7:03 measure 5 inches down again for plain strands of yarn and then add another 5 inch row of square knots
8:05 you can use clips to evenly space out strands on the hoop and keep them in place
8:22 you can hide the end yarn strand from the hoop under one of the square knots
11:31 trim the tassel at the bottom to the desired length
