A Foggy Hike to Wolf Rock.

Every few weeks my son and I go for a hike together. Yesterday (Sunday) we took such a trip. We decided to take a drive of roughly an hour and fifteen minutes to Stone Mountain State Park. We knew we’d be facing lousy weather, so we decided to go for a shorter hike in case the predicted rain would catch us and we’d have to cut the day short. So, we settled on the hike to Wolf Rock knowing we could make it back to the car within half an hour if the rain started. We found the park pleasantly empty of other humans due to the threat of inclement weather. That was a nice bonus. Soon after we reached the top of Wolf Rock, then rainfall that the weatherman had promised pretty much as promised on schedule. We decided to take a swift walk back to the car instead of tempting fate by hiking another trail.
