The Cradle

Imagine being in the earliest stages of civilization on a distant planet. You will eventually be part of something much more, yet for now you are part of a communal, tribal group. All that matters is the survival of the community in this ’cradle’ and any outcast would most probably lead a hellish, short life. Is this what happened to us?
