I DIDN’T ASK TO BE IN THIS POSITION. I WAS JUST TRYING TO DO MY JOB To break down obstacles constructed from ignorance by empowering people with knowledge and information. To provide an antidote to the poison of Russophobia that has infected America and the West. To promote the cause of peace. And to lobby against nuclear war. The US government has taken umbrage at my work. They seized my passport. They sent the FBI to search my home. They claim, wrongly so, that I have operated as an agent of the Russian government. They have not charged me with a crime. Hopefully they will not, because I have committed no crime. But if they do, I have to be prepared to defend myself. To defend free speech. To defend a free press. To defend the Constitution. Such a defense comes at a cost. A cost that would be impossible for me to bear on my own. So I am asking for your help.
