Under-secretary of the Home Office, Geoffrey Lloyd visits the Government Anti Gas School and is shown the ’Chlorine Cottage’ by two other men. They explain how any gaps around the doors, windows and ventilation shafts are covered with clay and paper strips. Geoffrey and one of the men go inside, while a man wearing a gas mask sets off some gas from a cylinder outside the house.
