Near Beckenham. A story about “Picturesque Petrol Pumps“.
Via an intertitle the question is asked: “Why shouldn’t a filling station look like this?“ Followed by a shot of a pagoda style building with an ornamental garden where cars are pulling in to buy petrol. Fantastic! A smartly dressed man in uniform opens a car door at the entrance. He salutes as a glamorous young woman gets out of the car. He dispenses petrol from an extravagant petrol pump. Shot of the petrol station’s gardens. The woman wanders around the garden. There is a small bridge and a pond with water lilies. The woman poses on the bridge then skips back to her car and drives off.

Note: amazing little film. Might be nice to show what life was like for the wealthy in the 1920s - chick can go off for a stroll in the garden whilst petrol pump attendant in very smart uniform fills the tank.
