Introducing Charles Dowding’s YouTube Channel for easier ways to grow more

My channel shows and explains methods to grow more food in less time and space. The no dig methods you see here are easy to understand, and highly effective. Simply a surface cover of compost for beds, and a little woody material for paths. No soil disturbance is necessary, for example I don’t use a broad fork. The result is a productive and relatively weed free garden, where you can have fun being creative. I show you also how beautiful our food plants can be, and how they can resist much pest and disease. I show you how to make excellent compost, without frequent turning. You also learn how to understand and cope with some difficult problems, such as perennial weeds, and insects at certain times of the year. I explain propagation, early cropping, watering and harvesting. All based on experience of what works, in my gardens and market gardens since 1982.
