Raag Darbari - Sabir Khan - Raag & Ritu (Samved Project)

Raga Darbari is one of the most melodious ragas in Hindustani music. The raga is said to have been created by Miyan Tansen in the royal court, or darbar, of Akbar, and hence given the name “darbari“. The raga requires “andolan“ or “a light shake/oscillations“ for komal ga and komal dha (marked as g~ and d~). Raga Darbari is a late night raga. The emotions of this raga are romantic and joy.
