The wind returned on day 6 of the 2023 schauinslandreisen Windsurf World Cup Sylt, presented by got2b, allowing a further three eliminations to be completed in 10-20 knots of wind and choppy / wavy waters, while Sylt’s infamous shorebreak claimed a few victims, but most survived largely unscathed. With 7 eliminations now being sailed the second discard comes into play meaning one rider goes from 12th place at the start of the day, to now taking the event lead!
