Anti-lockdown protesters march through Copenhagen

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Denmark’s capital on Saturday, voicing their anger at the country’s ongoing Covid restrictions. The march was organized by the ‘Men in Black’, an anti-lockdown group with thousands of supporters. Protesters carried signs reading ‘Black-Clad Resistance’, ‘COVID 1984’, and ‘Vaccine Passports = Discrimination’. The march comes after the Danish government announced an extension to many of the restrictions currently in place. The move sees most shops, restaurants, and schools closed until April at the earliest, despite protests from opposition leaders. There’s also anger at the government’s plan to issue vaccine passports, which the Men in Black and their supporters consider a violation of their human rights.
