Welcome back to another 2D to 3D video. I am Follygon and in this video, I am going to show you my entire digital character sculpting process from beginning to end. This time around I am Casual Girl in a Winter Jacket inspired by the artwork of Lydia Elaine, @lotusbubble on Instagram.
Normally, I would be sculpting the early stages of this character from scratch, but I thought this would be a great way to show off ModMesh. You can check it out here:
I’ll be talking about the complete process of this character as well as giving advice for sculpting in general. As always I am turning this 2D concept into 3D using my software of choice ZBrush. Created on my 27 QHD Cintiq Graphics Tablet, which lets me use a pen to control my digital clay.

Ben De Angelis “Follygon” is a professional digital sculptor with a background in sculpting appealing characters for toys and life size figures for production in a variety of styles. Ben has worked on such IP as Pokemon, Barbie, Batman, Shrek, Ghostbusters, Hotel Transylvania, Madagascar, Flintstones, Clash of Clans and many more.
