Amalienborg Palace is the home of the Danish royal family and the heart of Copenhagen Denmark. You can visit one of the world`s oldest monarchies and you can experience the unfogettable changing of the guards. The Danish Royal Life Guard (Den Kongelige Livgarde) march from Rosenborg Castle to Amalienborg Palace. The ceremony takes place daily with the guards leaving Rosenborg Castle at 11:30 to arrive at Amalienborg Palace at 12:00.
