Kidnapping Suspect Gets Shot After Running Toward The Deputies With a Water Bottle

** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** Moreno Valley, California — On Saturday, April 3, 2021, around 6:25 PM, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputies from the Moreno Valley Station were assisting another agency with the search of wanted suspect Juan Carlos Estrada, a 40 year old resident of Corona, who was in the Moreno Valley area. Estrada was wanted in connection with a possible kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon which occurred earlier in the day. The search led deputies to a home in the 16000 block of La Fortuna Lane. Multiple deputies arrived at the location and began to give verbal commands over their patrol vehicle speakers, from in front of the home, for Estrada to exit. Estrada did not exit the home. During this time, dispatch received a call from a woman inside the home advising that Estrada was inside and “acting like he has a gun, but he doesn’t have one.“ More verbal commands were given for the Estrada to exit.
