LIVE from Riga at march held to honour Waffen SS Latvian Legion

Activists and former members of the Latvian Legion of the Waffen SS are due to march through Riga on Monday as part of their annual commemoration of members of the unit who lost their lives fighting on the Nazi German side during World War II. Last year’s march saw hundreds gather at the Cathedral of St. John before marching to Dome Square and then towards the Freedom Monument, to commemorate a battle with the Red Army near the town of Pskov in 1943. Later that day protesters staged a counter-demonstration
