Quake II: Slight Mechanical Destruction

Quake II was developed by ID Software and published by Activision. The author of the custom level I’m playing is Chris “Musashi“ Walker. I own nothing in this video. Perhaps one of the most visually stunning SPQ2 map packs ever made, Slight Mechanical Destruction is also one of the most recent, released only four years ago in 2013. Apart from the ominous atmosphere, the amazing architecture and the phenomenal visuals (Quake II has never looked quite so sci-fi), Slight Mechanical Destruction also implements several new features (some of them carried over from Lazarus) which include tapping into the camera network of the facility you’re infiltrating, pushing and pulling crates in order to reach other areas, and a self-destruct timer that stays in effect across the entire unit.
