This athlete was born in 1949 and when you look at his sharp movements, jumps, handstand walking and power elements, you refuse to believe that he is over 70 years old.
The athlete says that age is not just a number, but a wasted resource. He hasn’t been a workout all his life and he’s not genetically gifted, so I asked him what he worked for and what his sports background was.
The athlete worked in different places - an electrician, he was also a teacher at a music school for 4 years. Worked as a musician.
Pull ups in his youth he did about 25 reps, dips about 30 reps. Now the athlete is 163 cm tall and weighs 65 kg.
Most sports records set during fasting. He says that he does not get sick thanks to regular 7-day fasts, and various breathing practices.
In 1991 he did 3 reps one-arm pull-ups and 50 reps two-arm pull-ups. Also 500 push ups.
Performed elements - a cross on the rings, a human flag.
Planche made for the first time after 70 years. He was not lucky with genetics, men rarely lived to be 50 years old.
What are the latest records. Pull-ups on the horizontal bar did 44 reps at 70 years old. Dips 61 reps, over 5 muscle ups on bar and power muscle ups on rings, and push ups 161 reps. The athlete does all this at the age of 72.
He did gymnastics in his youth during 1961-1968
received - 1 category. After the army kept fit, there were many breaks in the workout. The athlete was motivated by Albert Azarian, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jackie Chan.
His first breakfast is about 8 A.M. - coffee with milk and 3 slices of bread with soft cheese. Second breakfast after physical activity, doing 10 minutes of sit-ups for about 400 reps.
Cottage cheese is eaten with dried fruits, or oatmeal with 1 teaspoon of honey, and a couple of chicken eggs.
Then lunch, and then dinner at 9 P. M. - a banana, or fermented baked milk, or just tea. Go to bed at 11 P. M. and wake up at .
The athlete walks handstand, jumps capoeira, practices wushu. His sharp movements at the age of 70 are impressive, and especially the handstand, acrobatic elements. He can human flag for over 10 seconds, iron cross for 23 seconds, holds planche and full planche similar to Hannibal for King. Performs front lever, back lever, muscle ups, and over 30 pull-overs.
He has abs muscles and an athletic build. The athlete says that training cannot make us healthy, more important is nutrition, physical education, breathing practices, sleep and other elements of a healthy lifestyle.
