Learn vocabulary for skiing and snowboarding in English. In this ESL lesson, we take you on our trip to Vail, Colorado and show you how to put on your skis or snowboard, get on the chairlift, stop on skis, and much more! We go through equipment such as helmet, goggles, neck warmer, ski jacket, snowpants, boots and ski poles. You’ll learn the names of runs according to difficulty level. We also learn fun verbs like “to carve“ and “to plow.“ And find out what happens to the skier who decides to cliff jump!
