Officially unhappy with the sound (unofficially: the record company sent the group back to the studio, very unhappy with the potential of this album), Europe recorded several new songs so that Prisoners In Paradise was born. The group recorded many tracks not appearing on the album. Some were published later: Break Free, Yesterday’s News, Long Time Comin ’, Mr Government Man, Here Comes The Night and Sweet Love Child. Others appear on the pirate album The Baron Boys as Stranded, composed in 1985 for the album The Final Countdown, but given to Tone Norum, the sister of guitarist John, for her album This Time.
