Anna Hyatt Huntington’s New York Sculpture

An exhibition curated by art history professor Anne Higonnet and 20 of her students explores the legacy of the early 20th-century sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington. Although Huntington’s works—including the Joan of Arc sculpture on Riverside Drive at 93rd Street and jaguars at the Bronx Zoo—grace many of New York City’s public spaces, she has been largely forgotten. The exhibition runs through March 15 at Columbia’s Wallach Art Gallery.
