Lian Li AL120 V2 vs AL120 the upgrades that matter

Here I’m comparing the Lian Li AL120 V2 fans with the original AL120 Unifans. I’ve crafted videos on both these fans before that are worth checking out. The Lian Li AL120 V2 fans feature a number of interesting things worth knowing. They include an interlocking mechanism so they can easily be connected together. This means you can connect groups of fans but only have two wires coming out to control the power and RGB lighting. On a single AL120 V2 fan this cable can be connected directly to the CHA_Fan or SYS_fan on your motherboard for power and then the other cable has an adapter for the 5V RGB header which lets you control RGB lighting from your motherboard software. Note, you can also use these fans with an all in one cooler and I’ve shown the logic of doing that here - Can I use different fans with my all in one cooler?
