TCB originally wrote and released this song in 2017 EP “Cutie Cuts”. At the time, I wasn’t really compelled by Scootaloo’s character. It was a big lack of perspective. 2017 me wasn’t all that nuanced yet. But I did really love TCB’s EP and remixed “Atychiphobia” on a whim. In the original description for the remix I wrote “I can almost promise this is the only Scootaloo related anything I’ll ever do ever. (;”, and that ended up being so wrong. Having grown as a person and having come to relate to Scootaloo’s feelings and stories, Atychiphobia represents perseverance through that failure and misunderstanding.
