Portrait of my black cat. Kenshiro survived two deadly diseases: Feline calicivirus (FCV) and Feline panleukopenia (FPV). Both diseases were contracted in a very serious form, with FCV there was a beginning of necrosis in the mouth and with FPV we had to intervene with interferon, antibiotics and forced feeding and hydration for months. Unfortunately, two other kittens from the colony, including his little sister, died despite treatment. Now he lives permanently with us. We called him Kenshiro because he proved to be very strong. He is very sweet and peaceful and the long period of isolation, due to the illness, has not changed the beautiful relationship he has with his brother Don Codino and with the other cats in the house.
