We’re so excited to share this new music video for My No. 1, filmed at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn, NY! Earlier this year, we released a live in-studio performance of this song, and we decided to make an album version as well. This one was a lot of fun to produce - I (Daro) played around with layering woodwinds to create synthy textures and chopped up Ben’s drumming to grab loops and fills, giving the song a more electro vibe. Still, it’s all acoustic instruments, including some drums recorded in the hallway outside of the studio (more on that later), and a whole bunch of clarinets and flutes!
