Russian House | Book Release Friends of the Soviet Union

The Tamil edition of the book ‘Friends of the Soviet Union’ by Dr. L.V. Mitrokhin was successfully implemented on June 22, the Day of Memory and Sorrow, which marks the first day of the Great Patriotic War. The book contains details of the friendship and solidarity between India and the Soviet Union during WWII. The book was translated into Tamil by Director Rajeshwar and published by Indo-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industries. The book release was attended by many dignitaries including Alexey Tarasov, vice-consul of General Consulate of Russian Federation in Chennai, Alexey Illuviev, First secretary, Sector of culture, Embassy of the Russian Federation in New Delhi, Gennadii Rogalev, Director of Russian House in Chennai, Sivanthu Pillai, Vice President IRCCI, Thangappan, Secretary of IRCCI, Honourable Justice K. Chandu (Retd), Madras High Court and others.
