Things used
Purchased the golu dolls. The template layout is first done a 5X4 card board. Then, we used foam board to cut out the 4 sides of gopuram. The outer look of gopuram is simulated using print (Image editing tools were used to get the proper angle for the side inclined walls). The praharam is also created using foam board. The pillar is cut using some dowel sticks (lumber stores or art and craft stores). The moulding was purchased from art stores too. We cut and painted according to the required specs. Regular black and white print out to mimic the praharam walls with stone engravings of sivapuranam. The lamp effect is created using tea light candles.
