Sailing to Anguila and visit its stunning beaches and resorts. Some of the best beaches in the world we would say. Anguilla is probably the best sun & sand destination in the Caribbean. Following our short trip to the island of Saba, s/v Cloudy Bay (Hallberg Rassy 54) continues the cruise through the Leewards, departing French St. Martin and sailing the short distance over to British Anguilla. After a month on the busy and rather chaotic island of St. Martin, the small and low populated coral island of Anguilla seems like a holiday for us. Stunning beaches, beautiful resorts, very friendly people and a much less agitated way of life here. After a beam reach then a short windward sail, we anchor in Road Bay. The only safe place to moor. Then, in our usual fashion, we tour the island seeking out the best beaches and resorts. And enjoy a couple of beach days, kitesurfing before setting off westwards, to the British Virgin Islands. 26 February - 2 March 2019 Places we visited
