Gaza’s Health Ministry said the death toll in Israeli strikes since Oct. 7 has risen to at least 8,525. More than 50 Palestinians were killed and 150 wounded in Israeli airstrikes on the Jabalia refugee camp, Gaza’s Health Ministry said. Israel bombed the refugee camp with 6 shells, each one weighing a ton of explosives, according to Gaza’s interior ministry. The IDF said the commander of Hamas’s Central Jabaliya Battalion, Ibrahim Biari, and “numerous terrorists“ had been killed in the strike. The airstrike caused underground Hamas tunnels to collapse, bringing down several nearby buildings, the IDF said.
