Gillian Welch and David Rawlings perform this lovely waltz which they co-wrote. It is also known as “Dear Someone“. They are accompanied by John Hartford on fiddle and Mike Compton on the mandolin. The event is the “Down From The Mountain“ concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on May 24, 2000. The event was a celebration of traditional American music and a rollout of sorts for the Coen Brothers film “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?“ The entire concert may be viewed at the following link:
