Germany women’s relay loses the baton in front of Hitler 1936 Berlin Olympics
During women’s 4x100 relay final at 1936 Olympics Games held in Berlin, in the Nazi Germany, the home team loses the baton between the third leg and the anchor, losing the leading and getting disqualified right before Hitler’s eyes.
Germany team was the favourite to win that competition, since it set a new world record in R1 (46“5).
