Porsche Mission X Walkaround

When people reach the ripe age of 75, just staying healthy and alive is quite a gift. But for Porsche’s 75th birthday, the famous sports car maker has a remarkable present in mind—an ultra-fast car set to be the speediest production vehicle ever to conquer the Nurburgring racetrack. What’s even more fascinating? It’s going to be an electric car (EV). Well, at least, it might be, if Porsche goes ahead with making it. Right now, the supercar only exists as a concept called Mission X, which gives us a strong hint about what Porsche’s ambitious project could entail. The scope of this endeavor is seriously impressive. Porsche says that Mission X will have an outstanding power-to-weight ratio, with at least one horsepower for every 2.2 pounds of weight, thanks to an innovative all-electric 900-volt setup. If we compare this with Porsche’s earlier supercar, the 2015 918 Spyder, which weighed about 3,700 pounds, we can guess that Mission X could have around 1,700 horsepower. That'
