Maestro Ennio Morricone and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra perform “Chi Mai“ live at their last ever concert in Germany at SAP Arena in Mannheim on March 9, 2017. Maestro Morricone’s composition “Chi Mai“ was written in 1971 and it was used in the films “Maddalena“ (1971), “Le Professionnel“ (1981) and in the tv series’ “An Englishman’s Castle“ (1978) and “The Life and Times of David Lloyd George“ (1981).] Because of its appearance on the latter tv programme, “Chi Mai“ reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart in 1981.
