My friend Shaun and I had a blast last summer tracking all of these locations from this incredible movie. I lost a drone, nearly lost my wedding ring, almost lost all of my lenses to water damage, and could have died. However, I would do it all over again for that amazing experience. Western North Carolina has such beautiful, natural landscapes. We ended spending about 4 days at different state parks and forests (Bridal Veil Falls, Triple Falls, Linville Falls, Chimney Rock State Park, and more!) to hunt these all down and luckily they weren’t too hard to find. After the movie’s release, a man named Rich Federici obsessed over the locations and found nearly all of them.
