Miles Davis - “Me And You“ at Stuttgarter Jazzgipfel 1988
Miles Davis, of course, with:
bass - Benny Rietveld
drums - Ricky Wellman
keyboards - Adam Holzman
keyboards - Bobby Irving III
percussion - Marilyn Mazur
sax - Kenny Garrett
lead bass - Foley
The bass solo is actually called “Me And You“, which was always tagged on after “The Senate“. I don’t know why, or who named or “wrote“ it, it was like that when I joined.
July 11, 1988 at the Songshalle in Stuttgart. Originally broadcast by SWR (Rheinland-Pfalz) as part of the documentary series Jazz Summit Stuttgart.
I’ve seen this video posted several times elsewhere, so please don’t sue me, SWR.
