A house built on the site where serial killer John Wayne Gacy’s house was demolished is on the market at $459,000.
The three-bedroom, 2,500-square-foot house on Summerdale Avenue in Norwood Park Township was first listed in August at $489,000; the price has been cut three times since. The brick ranch house where Gacy lived was torn down in the wake of the police investigation that required digging up the crawlspace, driveway, garage and yard, where police found the remains of 29 bodies in late 1978 and early 1979.
