Diagnosis in Lacan (2 of 6): Clinical structures

How do we understand the idea of psychopathology from a Lacanian perspective? What is the Lacanian view on the idea of ’abnormality’? We differentiate Lacan’s clinical structures, highlighting the tension between structure and singularity (although there are only three structures they contain an endless amount of variation within them). We explore the idea that diagnosis should, ideally, be there to direct the treatment rather than being a language of objectification. Link to board:
